We have one barrel home. First come, first serve — hand‑built, romantic mini home for two. Benches fold to a double bed. Bring your own mattresses and linen. Simply arrive, have a look around, and then you can decide whether to book or not.
Hand-built, romantic mini home
When we first saw the barrel, we fell in love. Hand built by our friend Mike, it's our one and only — the cutest, most romantic mini home. By day, the benches fold in so you can read, play cards or plan hikes at the little table. At night, the benches fold into a two‑person bed.

Our philosophy and what we don’t offer
We appreciate the beautiful spot here on Egmont Road and love to share it with others. We have chickens, three steers and two sweet dogs. It’s peaceful — most of what you hear are birds and the farm. We grow vegetables and care for the garden.
Mattresses and bed linen: The barrel home provides a clean and dry place to spend the night. Please bring your own (air) mattress and blanket. If you cannot bring this yourself, give us a ring in advance and we’ll see what we can arrange.
Water: We depend on rainwater. Shower use may be restricted during drought; we’ll let you know.
Kitchen & shelter: Simple garden/farm‑stay setting. There is no shared kitchen or sheltered cooking area. Feel free to use your own gear or order from our café. If the forecast is very bad for several days, this may not be the perfect spot with a tent.
