Overview

Midwinter at Volcanoview is for the room that actually listens — then moves. On Friday 17 July we're hosting a one-off showcase: four local indie acts back-to-back from 6–8pm, then a DJ set till 10 so you can shake off the cold properly.

On the bill: Caleb Northwood, John Dory, Hamish Cameron and Emily De Vegt — songwriters and live performers from Taranaki's indie circuit, each playing a full set in an intimate room at the foot of the mountain.

Volcanoview hosts the bar and the food — stone-oven baked sourdough pizzas (gluten-free options available) served from 5–8pm, plus a fully licensed bar pouring all night. Social gathering, no table service: find your spot, talk to someone new. Courtyard fire when the weather plays ball.

Tickets are $10 — all proceeds go to the artists. A night in support of the artists and the scene around Buzzyworld Studio.

Doors open from 5pm. Live music from 6pm. Get your ticket on Humanitix.
