Graeme James x Volcanoview - New Year's Party

Welcome 2026 with live music, good people and one of the best views in Taranaki. Acoustic sets, indie folk dance tunes, and a joyful countdown to midnight.

Graeme James x Volcanoview - New Year's Party
New Year's Eve

Overview

Welcome the new year with live music, good people and one of the best views in Taranaki! We open our doors at 6:00pm for a special night of music at the foot of Mt Taranaki, with handcrafted food, a thoughtful bar list, and a soundtrack that builds from laid-back twilight tunes to a full-tilt, foot-stomping finale.

The night starts gently with acoustic sets by Caleb Northwood & Samuel Fawkner-Egli as people arrive, eat, talk and unwind. As the stars come out and the evening deepens, Graeme James takes the stage with his signature one-man-band show — looping fiddle, guitar and a suitcase of instruments into big foot-stomping, heart-thumping, sing-it-out indie folk dance tunes.

Farewell 2025 with a joyful countdown to midnight surrounded by old friends, new friends and the silhouette of the mountain. Come early, settle in for dinner, and dance your way into the wide open possibilities of a New Year!
